Citizens for Midwifery Nonprofit, grassroots organization founded in 1996 to promote the “Midwives Model of Care.” For an overview, download the brochure. State-by-state legal status information, directory of midwives, news, and resources.
Menopause Online Extensive information on menopause and perimenopause including alternative treatment. Includes vitamin and mineral information, and 24 herb monographs detailing traditional uses, current status and precautions. Resources also include newsletters, organizations and web links specific to women’s health, as well as general health. The online Bulletin Board allows the sharing of information and experiences about specific topics such as Alternative Medicine, Anxiety/Depression, Sleeping Problems, etc.
